Suggestions for Reporters: January 6, 2025

Unless the major newspaper reporters—NYT, WaPo, WSJ, LA Times, AP, etc.— dig into the corporate conflicted consultants to whom the Democratic Party contracts out its campaigns, from fundraising to strategies to blocking access to campaigns from civic groups, they will not inform their readers about one of the most fundamental reasons why the party produces debacle after debacle against the worst GOP in history at the state, local and national levels.

The last revealing feature on these consultants was from The Intercept around 2021. During the long campaign last year, reporters were informed repeatedly about this gap in their coverage. They should dig into these corporate consultants that shape the Democratic Party message, strategy, fundraising, inhibitions, self censorship etc. to no avail.
